B-Rels

The B Relative Table is designed to enhance the Free Fall Skills of student skydivers upon completion of either, the Accelerated Free Fall or Static Line Tables.

Skills learnt will allow the student to participate in larger Relative Work Formations, and form the basis for progression to other disciplines.

Once again, this is a Ten-stage progression. Initial instruction is provided on a one to one basis. Students are required to pass each stage satisfactorily before moving on to the next.

  • Stages 1 to 9 operate on this individual basis.

  • Stage 10 requires a minimum of 3 jumps with between 3 and 4 people. More complex formations are utilised during this phase.

Normally, this table will take around 16 jumps to complete. Further advanced canopy handling techniques are taught as part of the progression. Students will usually complete other training and examinations for the acquisition of their “A” license during B Relative training.

 Fun Jumps

Skydivers need appropriate training and licences before they can participate in various activities. For licensed jumpers, some of the activities offered at Southern Skydivers include:

  • Relative work - up to 15 way formations

  • Free Flying

  • Sit Flying

  • Sky Surfing

  • Canopy Relative Work

  • Night Jumps

  • Beach Jumps

  • Winery Jumps (we have lots of wineries around us)

The choice of jumping activity is normally left up to individuals or groups. Southern Skydivers will provide the infrastructure for people to have fun and enjoy their skydiving. Hire equipment is available for the activities listed above.
