"Tandem" Skydiving is the most popular way for people to experience the thrill and exhilaration of Free Fall.

Training for the first Tandem jump takes around twenty minutes. Training consists of:

  • A Video presentation
  • Practice of the Exit position (How to exit the aircraft)
  • Practice of the Free Fall Position (What to do whilst Free Falling)
  • What to expect when the Tandem Parachute opens
  • Procedures for flying under the Tandem Parachute
  • Landing procedures (Practiced suspended in the actual Tandem Harness)

This instruction is followed by final exit practice out at the Jump aircraft.

Then off you go to 10000 feet above ground level! On the way to altitude, your harness will be firmly attached to the harness of you Tandem Master.

At 10000 feet the Aircraft will run in on JUMP RUN. The Tandem Master will move you into the door and position for the Exit. Then – Yahoo, Gerenimo, Gosh or Expletive! You are on your way! Acceleration like you have never felt! Free Falling at 200 kilometres an Hour! You’ve got 35 seconds of heart thumping, adrenalin pumping excitement blasting away at you.! The wind, the views and the feeling of total free flight!

At 5000 feet the Tandem Parachute starts to open and you decelerate rapidly. Once the parachute opens, all is quiet (except for your heart trying to leap out of your chest!) The Tandem Master will then fly you around and show the magnificent views of the Busselton area. Views to Cape Naturaliste and beyond. Beautiful beaches and stunning coast line.

After nearly five minutes of zipping around the skies, it’s time to land. So – adopt the landing position as per the briefing and get ready to arrive back on terra firma. The landing area is right at Busselton Regional Airport, just a short distance from our hangar. Your friends (or cheer squad) will no doubt hail your arrival in great voice!

Then back to the hangar for presentation of your jump certificate. The recently acquired swept back hair style and huge grin will fade with time! (Not usually on the jump day) Many visitors to the region follow up the excitement of Tandem Skydiving by heading out to DO some of the many excellent wineries, which surround us. Great way to go! Great way to end the day!

Best to book your Tandem Skydive in Advance. We will point you in the direction of the “after jumping activities”

Movies

We managed to format some digital movies to MPEG. You can view them with "Media Player" on any Windows Operating System! If you are running Windows 95 , get the Media Player 6.4 from the Microsoft Download Centre . For Windows 98, you should be alright, if not, just download "Media Player 7.1 " from Microsoft Download Centre Note: Media Player 7.1 is not compatible with Windows 95!!!

Movies: [ Movie1 ] [ Movie2 ] theses movies are self-extracting, you will probably need " WinZip " . If you don't already have it, just download it HERE . WinZip is a very handy little application to have and its only small (1.2Mb), it can compress any files! If you are not a computer minded person, just follow the default prompt, and choose " WinZip Classic " at the end of the installation.

Enjoy the Movies!!!
