Southern Skydivers Staff

Southern Skydivers staffs draw on a wealth of experience and abilities.

We have several members who have had extensive experience with both military and civilian parachuting. Some of our people have been jumping for over 30 years! And, they are still at it!

We train people to a variety of levels and have a ball doing it. You can expect to meet some lively characters with enthusiasm plus, on our DZ. They are colourful and keen. Most have had a long association with our operation, which has been teaching people how to skydive for around 15 years. (We have changed our name to better reflect our position in the Southern area of Western Australia) Others are relatively new to the sport, most of whom we have trained from scratch. We even have some imports, who have migrated to the area. Some people come over for the summer, and thoroughly enjoy all on offer, before heading home to distant lands.

No matter what your skydiving experience level is, you will be most welcome in Busselton. Our team will see that you have a Great Time!

Southern Skydivers operate out of the Busselton Regional Airport, located 6 kilometres from the town centre. Busselton is situated 233 kilometres south of Perth and takes approximately 2 1/2 hours drive.

We have our own modern hangar and training facilities within the airport complex. A 1500 metre tarmac strip allows for all year round operations. Large, flat, open grassed areas surround the airport. There is ample room for both beginners and experienced parachutists.
