Skydiving is the ultimate in adrenalin sports! Nothing compares to the thrill of jumping from a perfectly good aeroplane, and plummeting toward the earth at 200km/hour. You will never forget the experience.

Do I need to have any experience?
No experience is needed, so you can just let your qualified tandem instructor take care of everything. All you need to do is enjoy the ride!

What do I need to wear?
Please ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear. Shoes must be enclosed and have no heel.

Is there a weight limit?
For safety reasons, we have a weight limit of 95kg’s for all tandem skydiving passengers. Please call 1300 449 669 for further clarification.

How high should I go?
There is no doubt that your freefall will be the most thrilling part of your skydive experience. An 10,000ft skydive gives you 30 seconds of freefall, a 14,000ft skydive gives you 60 seconds of freefall, and a 15,000ft skydive gives you the ULTIMATE THRILL! 66 seconds of freefall.

What’s included in my video?
Your skydive will be recorded from start-to-finish. This includes your briefing on the ground, the tense moments of boarding the aircraft, your scenic flight up to altitude, the aircraft exit and freefall, and your parachute ride and landing.
We will edit the footage to music, ready for you to take home on the day!

How long does it take?
Allow about 2 hours for the whole experience. This includes your briefing on the ground, the scenic ride up in the aeroplane, your freefall and ride under the parachute.

What if the weather isn’t suitable for skydiving?
All skydiving is weather dependent, so please re-confirm your booking on the morning of your skydive by calling 1300 449 669. Your booking may need to be re-scheduled if the weather isn’t suitable for skydiving.

We are open all year round, 7 days a week except Christmas Day. Weather permitting.

Where are you located?
Southern Skydivers lands on the beach on the famous Busselton Foreshore. Our meeting and manifest area is at the Busselton Regional Airport in Busselton WA. For directions to our Drop Zone, please visit our Location page.

Can I jump solo?
Yes you can! Southern Skydivers runs monthly solo jump courses so you can learn to Skydive on your own. See our Learn to Skydive page for more details.

Is there an age limit?
Currently the legal age limit for skydiving in Australia is 14 years. Passengers under the age of 18 years will need parental or guardian consent.
There is no upper age limit, so long as you are fit and healthy, you can jump. We have taken skydiving passengers in their 80’s!
